Tiles are familiar in Zimbabwean homes, but more clients are asking about seamless metallic epoxy floors for lounges, bedrooms, kitchens and entertainment spaces. PASI Resin helps clients compare the practical differences before committing.
Design and feel.
Tiles create a repeated pattern with visible grout lines. Metallic epoxy creates one continuous glossy surface with soft movement. It can make a room feel larger because the floor is not visually broken into smaller pieces.
Cleaning.
Epoxy has no grout lines to scrub, so normal dust and spills can be easier to wipe away. Tiles can be very durable, but grout can darken over time if it is not maintained.
Installation planning.
Epoxy depends heavily on slab preparation, moisture checks and correct curing. Tiles depend on adhesive, grout and level setting. PASI Resin checks the floor first, then recommends whether metallic epoxy, flake epoxy or another coating is appropriate.
